Perhaps the creepiest band to crawl out of the bowels of Brooklyn, NY, Type O Negative can arguably be considered the band that put Roadrunner Records on the map. Peter Steele's dramatic baritone singing tongue-in-cheek lyrics about death and despair over electronic chaos and bottom-heavy guitars proved to be the band's signature and you can hear the greatest of their orchestrations on 'The Best Of Type O Negative.' 12 songs, 68 minutes, including a cover of Deep Purple's "Highway Star."
